I put in Emma's print order last night so I thought that I would share some of her session with you all. Emma was just 9 when I first met her mom in my long time ago scrapbook life- I know, crazy isn't it Sue?! I have heard bits and pieces of her life throughout those years but our session was the first time I got to actually hang out with her. It was lovely, she is lovely- and she deserves nothing but the best during her senior year and beyond.
Hello again, it's been a while....again. I have yet to find my balance between working and living in our new home. Before we moved, I had my computer in my kitchen. I worked on and off throughout the day- never really leaving it for more than an hour at a time. I would blog while the little kids were eating lunch and shoot out emails while my supper was cooking. In our new house, it gets a little trickier. We have a studio for me down in the lower level and I can't tell you how much I love it. All of my business stuff is down here and while I love not having work staring at me 24/7, it takes a bit to get me downstairs and on the computer. I come down here during nap time and in the evenings when the kids are asleep to work on my deadlines, but I don't have a good routine yet that allows me to put in some extra time doing this. I'm going to work on finding that groove because I've had such fun this past year. Weddings, seniors, babies and my own little life that I would like to share and haven't.
On another, more fun note: Alisza and Nathanael were married in a small ceremony in late July at Zingerman's in Ann Arbor. Her rustic decor' along with the brick interior made for the perfect venue... and before I start sounding like an infomercial, I'll show some photos of the day. It really was a great one!
I love brick in black and white photos. It makes my heart warm and fuzzy.
Since there wasn't going to be a big dance reception, Alisza and Nathanael chose a 5 hour photo package. We stayed walking distance from the venue which left us plenty of time for photos.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Gomez- Thanks for letting me be part of your day :)
